The NRC rating of our products ranges from .40 to .85 depending on mounting type.

• Direct mounted - 0.40 NRC (typically wall coverings and tiles)
• 1" off surface - 0.65 NRC (typically panels with standoffs)
• Baffle configuration - 0.85 NRC (typically ceiling products)

All testing done at the Riverbank Labs in Geneva IL. USA.

Our products meet both the American and the Canadian fire test standards. 

• ASTM E84: Class A rating
• CAN/ULC S102: Flame Spread Classification of 15, Smoke Developed Classification of 210

Important: While our products carry excellent fire ratings, they are NOT fireproof. Keep TheQuietRoom products away from flame source and extreme heat. 

Handling

• Ensure your hands are clean and free of any oils prior to handling our products. We recommend using gloves to prevent any transfer of oils or contaminants. 

Cleaning

• Dust: Apply compressed air, or vacuum with gentle pressure. 
• Stain: For spot cleaning, apply small amounts of warm soapy water and pat dry. Use a soap that is safe for polyester. For a thorough cleaning, disassemble product and steam clean. Ensure steam temperature does not exceed 245 °F (118 °C).

TheQuietRoom.ca Inc. warrants all of our products to be free of manufacturing defects for 2 years from the date of purchase. 

This warranty does not cover damage resulted from negligence, misuse, alteration, improper installation, improper cleaning, spills/stains, or mold/mildew. 

Products with manufacturing defects are eligible for repair or replacement at the discretion of TheQuietRoom.ca Inc. Repairs/Replacements during the warranty period will incur no additional cost to the customer.
