Proposal:
The client wanted to create a 4'x8' logo out of deep blue and white acoustic felt, mounted on standoffs. To be mounted horizontally on the conference room wall.
Challenges:
Because the panel was to be installed on standoffs, and not directly to the wall, the inlay letters would be prone to falling through.
Solution:
To keep the letters from falling through, we glued a backing sheet of acoustic felt to the top layer. and cut holes out of the backing layer for the standoffs to go through.
Note: they also purchased and installed the parametric wall.
